Job Overview

We are looking for an Environmental Sustainability Coordinator to support our client, a prominent provider of cloud-based identity and access management solutions. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Design, Construction & Sustainability and collaborate closely with the Global Workplace & Safety team to implement our operational sustainability initiatives. Additionally, you will work in partnership with the ESG & Sustainability team to ensure our efforts align with the overarching corporate sustainability strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination of LEED and WELL site certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance and developing strategies to enhance our existing Silver certifications.
  • Lead the creation and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS), coordinating cross-functional teams of internal stakeholders and external consultants.
  • Develop and implement a sustainable food and waste management program in collaboration with the site operations team.
  • Manage the reporting and tracking of site utility data for our annual greenhouse gas inventory.
  • Assess and monitor indoor air quality (IAQ) data across various sites, and create an employee engagement strategy focused on IAQ awareness.
  • Organize Earth Week initiatives to promote employee engagement through both virtual and onsite activities.
  • Apply relevant sustainability standards and frameworks (e.g., SASB, GRI, SDGs) to enhance our workplace environmental sustainability efforts.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in operational sustainability practices (e.g., LEED/WELL, sustainable food initiatives, renewable energy sources).
  • Familiarity with collecting site utility data and understanding the GHG Protocol.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, and employee involvement.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being effective independently.
  • Skilled in synthesizing complex information from various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in sustainability-related roles.
