Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Analyst to join our team at ARUP Group. As a Sustainability Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in achieving their sustainability goals and developing innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) due diligence analysis for technical and commercial reviews
  • Advising on ESG frameworks and conducting materiality assessments
  • Data collection, organization, and analysis
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, Business, or Finance, or similar with coursework in engineering, economics, business, and/or applied math/sciences where relevant
  • Strong interest in infrastructure project development, delivery, and/or operations
  • Strong quantitative skills with good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Demonstrated long-form writing experience (e.g., completion of at least one relevant internship while pursuing the above degree(s)
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese with English)
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
  • Flexible and out-of-the-box innovative thinking

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience across a variety of project types in both infrastructure and buildings, e.g., rail, bridges, tunnels, large office/mixed use, etc.
  • Working understanding of project development process and project finance
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, Primavera 6, Excel Financial Modeling techniques, and VBA. Programming languages also a plus.
