Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive position management and classification assistance, which includes evaluating and interpreting specific occupational categories and various organizational data (such as mission statements, functional descriptions, and organizational structures).
  • Offer classification insights that align with the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Apply the classification standards set forth by the Office of Personnel Management, along with any relevant guidance from the Department of Justice and/or Drug Enforcement Administration, to execute a full spectrum of tasks related to position classification and conduct Desk Audits in compliance with the Federal Wage System and/or the General Schedule.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in position classification, management, or compensation within the Federal sector. Alternatively, an additional three years of relevant experience in either the public or private sector may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with databases and automated systems, including SharePoint.
