DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be tasked with evaluating and conducting accuracy assessments on weighing and measuring devices used in commercial transactions. Your responsibilities will include verifying goods packaged, sold, or offered for sale based on weight, measurement, or quantity, reviewing inspections carried out by Certified Weights and Measures Examiners, investigating claims of dishonesty and misconduct, and enforcing regulations as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment with work hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break.

This is a Home Headquartered position; applicants must reside in specified counties.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:


Four years of public contact work, including one year of experience in weights and measures inspections; and graduation from high school.

or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the applicant with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities related to weights and measures inspections.


Special Requirements:
This position requires possession of a valid PA Class B or higher commercial driver's license (CDL).

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
