Job Description and Duties

As a Caltrans Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervision and operation of all maintenance activities by the assigned unit. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work under the direction of a Caltrans Maintenance Area Superintendent.

  • Work under the direction of a Caltrans Maintenance Area Superintendent
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
Eligibility and Hiring Process

Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Caltrans Maintenance Supervisor exam. For those who do not have current eligibility, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions. Working Conditions and Requirements

Position located in Tahoe City, Placer County. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Special Requirements
  • The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application.
  • The position(s) require(s) a valid and unrestricted Class C driver's license.
