Credit and Accounts Receivable Specialist

Barton Associates Careers is seeking a skilled Credit and Collections Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing our receivables collection process, analyzing credit information, and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operations of our receivables collection process, ensuring timely payments and effective communication with clients.
- Analyze credit applications and credit information to determine risk and communicate results to management.
- Monitor client receivables balances to ensure payments are made according to contractual terms.
- Identify accounts requiring collection agency or legal action and take necessary steps to resolve.
- Maintain up-to-date customer account information, including credit data, payment status, and account restrictions.
- Communicate with client contacts and operations staff to resolve issues related to outstanding balances.
- Apply payments, process account adjustments, credit memos, and write-offs.
- Review cash receipts applications to ensure proper payment application and perform follow-up activities as needed.
- Positive and customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent phone, computer, and people skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to multitask.
- Strong work ethic and flexibility.
