About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Marketing professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Business Development and Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our investment team and contribute to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive business development and marketing strategy to raise awareness of our capabilities and grow third-party assets under management.
  • Partner with the Head of Business Development and Marketing and investment teams to discuss investment and marketing strategies, develop and update marketing materials, and assist in potential new product development.
  • Attend conferences and arrange meetings to broaden awareness of our capabilities and build relationships with potential and current clients.
  • Utilize prospecting tools, such as Fin|Searches and Dakota Marketplace, to maintain awareness of relevant search activities and industry trends.
  • Utilize eVestment Alliance as a key competitive and industry trend research tool and assist in the initial onboarding and ongoing maintenance of our investment strategies on the database.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track prospect and client activities.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $110,300 - $183,800, plus eligibility for an annual bonus program.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting and company matching up to 6%.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required, with a BA/BS in finance or business preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and business development roles at investment management firms with strong fixed income capabilities.
  • Strong communication, listening, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Experience coordinating the creation and implementation of business development and marketing strategies and collateral that result in new clients and expanding relationships.
  • Experience with Fin|Searches, Dakota, S&P Money Market Directory, Salesforce, eVestment Alliance, and other industry data providers.
