Position Overview: The Ecommerce Site Merchandising Associate at ForceBrands plays a pivotal role in crafting the creative vision and strategic direction for our customers' online shopping experience. This individual will assist in executing responsibilities within the category site merchandising team, utilizing assortment strategies, competitive analysis, and market opportunities to create seamless and engaging shopping experiences through navigation, taxonomy, search, and browsing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Customer Behavior: You will design online shopping experiences that enhance customer engagement, build trust, and drive purchases.
  • Effective Communication: As a thought leader, you will communicate efficiently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, establishing trust across all levels.
  • Data-Driven Creativity: You will merge analytical insights with creative intuition to optimize content, achieve business objectives, and deliver an exceptional customer shopping experience.
  • Operational Excellence: You will focus on getting the fundamentals right, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: You will prioritize the collective success of the team, actively contributing, taking initiative, and mentoring fellow team members.

  • Site Strategy Leadership: You will lead the site strategy for specific categories, leveraging trends and customer insights to enhance the purchase journey.
  • Customer Experience Storytelling: You will identify key insights to shape the customer experience within your category.
  • Data Utilization: You will use data and analytical insights to set objectives, measure success, and continuously refine our site strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: You will collaborate with various internal teams to enhance processes, identify opportunities, and improve the customer experience.
  • Merchandising Initiatives Execution: You will implement omni-channel merchandising processes, driving efficiency and best practices across workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 2-4 years of experience in Buying, Site Merchandising, Category Management, or related fields.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a consumer-focused eCommerce environment with a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Creative and Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data to inform creative strategies.
  • Leadership: Capability to set clear objectives and develop future leaders.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
