As a vital representative of VCA, the Client Service Representative is essential in establishing a welcoming atmosphere for our clients and their pets. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering phone inquiries, and escorting clients and their pets to examination areas.
  • Coordinating and confirming appointments efficiently.
  • Conducting follow-up calls and reaching out to potential clients.
  • Communicating fees clearly and processing payments accurately.
  • Advising clients on products and services, including prescription options.
  • Addressing inquiries regarding services and educating clients on general pet care practices.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and managing correspondence.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the facility, including proper waste disposal.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Genuine compassion for animals and an understanding of client needs.
  • Effective decision-making abilities to determine the best course of action.
  • Capability to assimilate new information for problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Availability to work evenings and rotating Saturdays.
