Role Overview
As a vital representative of VCA, the Client Service Representative is essential in establishing a welcoming atmosphere for our clients and their pets. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering phone inquiries, and escorting clients and their pets to examination areas.
- Coordinating and confirming appointments efficiently.
- Conducting follow-up calls and reaching out to potential clients.
- Communicating fees clearly and processing payments accurately.
- Advising clients on products and services, including prescription options.
- Addressing inquiries regarding services and educating clients on general pet care practices.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and managing correspondence.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the facility, including proper waste disposal.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Genuine compassion for animals and an understanding of client needs.
- Effective decision-making abilities to determine the best course of action.
- Capability to assimilate new information for problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Availability to work evenings and rotating Saturdays.
