OUR PASSION DRIVES US.
- Offer veterinary guidance to Stewards regarding the health, welfare, and performance of racehorses
- Be present during training and racing hours
- Attend scratch time to confirm veterinary scratches and promptly report to Racing Officials
- Conduct pre-race evaluations in the paddock and post-race assessments, advising Stewards accordingly
- Provide emergency medical care to horses on-site and perform euthanasia when necessary
- Maintain records of incidents and injuries

CONTRIBUTE YOUR EXPERTISE.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must possess a valid Veterinary license in New Mexico and maintain good standing
- Must be approved by the New Mexico State Racing Commission
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of New Mexico Racing Laws and Regulations
- Must have extensive knowledge of Thoroughbred horses
- Must be adaptable to various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Must adhere to professional appearance standards as outlined by company policy
- Ability to respond to visual and auditory signals
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, often crowded environment
- Physically agile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to lift up to 60 lbs., and perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, and balancing in various work settings.
