Job Description:

Mewbourne Oil Company is seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to support field operations in Hobbs, New Mexico. The successful candidate will develop and maintain our PLC/HMI platform, working closely with petroleum engineers to build out new functionality, integrate new devices, and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain PLC/HMI platform
  • Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain production facilities
  • Work with petroleum engineers to build out new functionality and integrate new devices
  • Improve efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • Ladder Logic

  • Basic LAN Networking
  • Microsoft Office
  • Hands on work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Benefits:

Schedule:

Predominantly Monday - Friday with some weekend work, as needed. Mix of office and field-based work with frequent trips to field locations. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
