About the Director of Nursing Position

Brookdale Chapel Hill MC (NC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team in providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day clinical services of the community, ensuring residents' healthcare needs are met, and supervising and providing leadership to licensed nurses and other direct care staff.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the clinical services of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met
  • Supervise and provide leadership to licensed nurses and other direct care staff
  • Collaborate with community leadership to ensure quality care and services
  • Build relationships with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education as required to obtain state nursing license and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, and clinical leadership experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of technology, proficiency in Microsoft office suite and electronic documentation
