Job Summary

As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will assist in supervising daily operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and maintain the operating budget. You will be responsible for ensuring standards and legal obligations are followed, while providing a positive and supportive work environment for our team members.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations, including supervising staff and ensuring compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support and supervise an effective monthly self-inspection program to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Operate all department equipment as necessary and report any malfunctions.
  • Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Celebrate and foster decisions that result in successes as well as failures.
  • Communicate areas that need attention to staff and follow up to ensure understanding.
  • Coordinate cleaning programs in all food and beverage areas, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Follow property-specific second effort and recovery plans.
  • Stay readily available and approachable for all team members.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand-specific service culture.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 3 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
