About the Role

As a seasoned Superintendent, you will lead a team of subordinate superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to establish project plans, maintain weekly progress, and ensure compliance with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility company representatives. You will also be responsible for managing labor and subcontractors, maintaining a positive relationship with Owners, Design Consultants, and PM's, and enforcing a strict Safety Program and Quality Control Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish project plans and maintain weekly progress
  • Manage labor and subcontractors to ensure work quality and on-time delivery
  • Maintain positive relationships with Owners, Design Consultants, and PM's
  • Enforce Safety Program and manage Quality Control Program
  • Prepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules
  • Manage accurate invoice payment process and financial management of project costs
  • Resolve day-to-day field issues
  • Prepare daily reports with all manpower and significant activities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry as Superintendent
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southeast Region (GA, AL, TN, SC/NC, FL)
  • Experience in interior construction preferred
  • Small retail construction experience required
  • Restaurant construction experience required
  • Prove consistent work history

Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 + benefits
