ECS Limited is seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Construction Materials Field Technician to join our team in Lawrenceville. As a key member of our Field Services department, you will collaborate with experienced project management professionals to perform a variety of tasks safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:- Field Activities: Conduct observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement on construction sites.
- Testing Procedures: Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement using various methodologies and testing equipment following industry standards and compliance.
- Data Collection: Perform calculations and data reduction based on sampling, test results, and inspections; engage in drafting and other administrative duties as required.
- Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers; keep supervisor and project teams informed of changing site conditions and additional testing requested.
- Training and Development: Receive training in ECS methodology for project observations, inspections, and testing; document findings with precision in accordance with accepted engineering practices.
