Job OverviewPeachtree Building Group LLC is seeking a skilled Home Building Professional to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of on-site construction, including communication with the home office, city inspectors, and subcontractors.
  • Qualify and schedule subcontractors to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct regular inspections to evaluate progress and compliance with company safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee the timeline of each construction project, adjusting resources as needed to resolve delays and ensure timely submission of invoices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all construction processes.
  • Manage model homes and on-site trailers in construction areas, including home sites under construction, completed but unsold house sites, vacant lots, and communities.
  • Implement and maintain Best Management Practices (BMPs) on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 10 years of practical home building experience, with most experience working as a subcontractor.
  • Knowledge of all phases of new home construction, building methodologies, manufacturer's specifications, local codes, Federal, State, and Company safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and floor plans.
  • Ability to think conceptually and apply practical solutions.
  • Strong organizational and management skills, critical thinking, and prioritization abilities.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction or a related field.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Level 1-A Soil and Erosion certificate (Blue Card).
