Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent

HL Contractors, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities
  • Direct field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship
  • Maintain construction schedules, identify and solve problems, and order equipment and materials as required
  • Accurately track and account for all materials and equipment on site, and provide required reports
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety policies and requirements
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees
  • Prepare, schedule, and supervise completion of final punch list and other close-out documents
  • Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately
  • Administer daily and weekly reports, conduct required safety meetings, and ensure all company employees and contractors adhere to the company safety policy
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7-10 years of successful experience as a commercial construction superintendent
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • High-rise, supermarket, or retail experience is a huge benefit
  • Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production in all divisions of commercial construction
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects
  • OSHA 10 Hour, CPR, and First Aid certification required
  • Proficient in the use of computer and iPad technology and able to utilize construction software programs
