Job Summary

Vida Design Inc is seeking an exceptional Interior Designer II to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for urban multi-family and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with product manufacturer representatives to expand your knowledge of interior materials and finishes.
  • Research and gather materials, ensuring the team is informed about the latest product information.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation at all phases of a project, including construction documentation.
  • Build 3D models in SketchUp and maintain them throughout the design progression.
  • Learn and implement Vida Design Inc's standards and processes.
  • Assist in keeping files organized throughout the design process, as directed by the project leadership team.
  • Participate in team design charrettes on assigned projects.
  • Assist in Construction Administration (CA) documentation and research.
  • Set up presentation materials and documents for internal and external meetings.
  • Work with management to maintain a personal weekly to-do list and organized calendar and email inbox.
Requirements
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in a related field, with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Technical skills in Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to produce construction documentation from start to finish, including self-rendering.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for the creative process and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Professional appearance and conduct, with a friendly and outgoing approach.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
