We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join our team at Proliance Surgeons. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide top-notch customer service to patients, vendors, and visitors
- Schedule patient appointments, verify insurance and eligibility, and ensure accurate patient information
- Answer multiline phone system, screen calls, and direct messages to appropriate staff or physicians
- Enter personal health information and financial data into practice management system with high accuracy
- Assist patients with check-in process, completion of paperwork, and other administrative tasks
- Communicate appointment status, wait times, and cancellations to patients
- Review records for completeness, print updates, and maintain accurate records
- Collect and post co-pays, coinsurances, and balances due on patient accounts
- Facilitate patient flow by coordinating with medical assistants and clinical team
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in public contact, preferably in a medical office environment
- Minimum 1-year front office or reception experience, medical preferred
- Practice Management experience a plus
