About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Team Lead to join our team at STERIS. As a Laboratory Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership to staff, ensuring the coordination of testing schedules, and demonstrating, instructing, and reviewing work instructions, testing protocols, and safety precautions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the status of all testing and coordinate day-to-day execution of testing and prompt reporting/communication of results
  • Notify Management/QA/Customer promptly of OOS results and monitor cleaning/calibration of area equipment and spaces
  • Train or facilitate training of trainees and actively participate in Continuous Improvement
  • Lead small group meetings, record daily status, and report to main meeting
  • Identify gaps or challenges with work instructions and work with Supervisor/Team to DCO work instructions or source needed equipment/tools
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology
  • Minimum 8 years experience in a Laboratory with a HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years experience in a Laboratory with an AA degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Laboratory with a Bachelor's degree
