Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented professional to join our team as a New Equipment Support Specialist. In this capacity, you will be the main point of contact for clients who have acquired new equipment from our organization. Your role will involve addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the equipment acquisition journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance: Deliver prompt and courteous support to customers through various communication channels. Respond to inquiries related to new equipment purchases, delivery timelines, product details, and after-sales service.
  • Order Management: Oversee the processing of new equipment orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and inventory to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
  • Technical Support: Provide basic technical guidance to customers regarding the operation, installation, and upkeep of new equipment. Identify issues and escalate complex technical challenges to the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep precise records of customer interactions, orders, and service requests. Ensure all relevant documentation is accurately filed and updated in the company's CRM system.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Actively follow up with customers to gauge their satisfaction with newly acquired equipment. Address any concerns or issues promptly, aiming to exceed customer expectations and build lasting relationships.
  • Product Expertise: Stay updated on the features, advantages, and technical specifications of the company's new equipment offerings. Continuously enhance product knowledge through training and self-study to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with sales, technical support, and other departments to resolve customer issues and enhance overall satisfaction. Provide feedback to relevant stakeholders regarding customer experiences and product performance.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong written communication skills, capable of producing detailed documentation and analysis.
  • Analytical mindset to identify complex problems and evaluate options for optimal solutions.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills to build constructive relationships with various departments and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and manage responsibilities effectively.
  • Professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer service and sound judgment.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus in Mechanical Engineering considered advantageous.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in customer service, ideally within a technical or equipment-related field.
  • Experience in machinery manufacturing or related industries is a plus.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:
Regular communication and visual acuity are required. The role may involve lifting files and accessing filing cabinets.

Safety Requirements:
Adherence to safety training and protocols is mandatory.
