We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Professional to join our team at Ampcus in Washington, DC. This is a 1+ year contract position with an estimated salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

">Job Description
  • To provide Tier 2/3 desktop support to internal customers and various technical support teams.
  • To work on-site in Washington, DC.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong technical knowledge with some PowerShell experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least Seven years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of Five years of experience providing general desktop support.
  • Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • At least Five years' experience with hands-on computer and printer hardware troubleshooting and support.
  • Experience working with OEM tech support, such as initiating tech support tickets and coordinating returns and exchanges.
  • Experience with inventory management and logistical support.
  • At least Five years' experience in installing, configuring, and supporting the Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems on laptops and desktop computers in a client/server environment.
  • At least 5 years' experience in supporting common applications, such as Microsoft O365.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, as this position will interface with clients via phone and e-mail, chat and in-person.
  • Demonstrated ability to concisely summarize and document client issues.
