Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives and proposals for major transportation projects autonomously. Assess and interpret market trends, client requirements, and the competitive environment to guide marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as business development, project management, and technical specialists, to craft compelling and competitive proposals.
  • Manage the proposal lifecycle from inception to submission, ensuring that all deliverables are of high quality and compliant with standards.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key clients, industry collaborators, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct go/no-go evaluations and provide insights to senior management.
  • Develop and present marketing strategies and proposal content to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate proposal kick-off meetings.
  • Review RFPs and RFQs.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control for proposals.
  • Lead and conduct interviews.
  • Maintain and generate team resumes and project descriptions.
  • Monitor and report on marketing metrics, win rates, and market intelligence.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff in marketing and proposal best practices.
  • Occasional travel between offices and other locations may be necessary.
  • Flexible working hours may be required on occasion.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing or proposal coordination role, particularly in support of transportation prime proposals.
  • Proven track record in leading and securing proposals for transportation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the transportation sector, including highways, rail, transit, and aviation.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in proposal management software, InDesign, and other relevant tools.
