As a Transportation EIT/Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in our team's success by supporting Rail and Transit Project Managers and Engineers in developing track and civil design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project teams in developing design plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Take ownership of civil and track engineering assignments, including drainage, roadway, and utilities tasks
  • Develop design criteria, project guides, project meeting notes, and project controls
  • Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects
  • Provide guidance to clerical and technical personnel as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD C3D, MicroStation, and InRoads
  • MS Office Applications experience
  • Strong interest in railroad and transit design
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity with Highways and Roads engineering software
  • Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture
