Join HDR as a Transportation EIT/Coordinator

As a Transportation EIT/Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in our team's success by supporting Rail and Transit Project Managers and Engineers to develop track and civil design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers and engineers in developing design plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Take responsibility for civil and track engineering assignments, including drainage, roadway, and utilities tasks
  • Develop design criteria, project guides, project meeting notes, and project controls while supporting project managers
  • Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects
  • Provide direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD C3D, MicroStation, and InRoads
  • MS Office Applications experience
  • Strong interest in railroad and transit design

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d

The expected compensation range for this position is $64,400 - $105,800 and depends upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
