About the Role

Sunrun is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Field Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales leads and presenting our solar products and services to potential customers in their homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate leads and appointments with potential customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and sales experience from initial contact through installation and beyond.
  • Conduct in-home sales presentations and build long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and follow up with leads and customers to ensure successful installations.
  • Accurately report on sales outcomes and pipeline activity using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets as set by sales leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner with cross-functional teams to address customer needs.
  • Ability to travel within the local market, depending on business needs and sales model.
  • Intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an iPad/computer and multiple software applications.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

This position represents Sunrun in a field setting, requiring the ability to drive to customer locations and get in and out of the vehicle multiple times per day. The ability to communicate fluently in English is an essential function of this role, with fluency in another language a plus.
