Responsibilities

The Food Processing Specialist will work in a refrigerated food processing facility, performing various tasks to create finished products for distribution. Key responsibilities include:

  • High-level manual knife preparation of cut fruits and vegetables
  • Use of high-speed mechanical dicing and slicing equipment
  • Reading standard recipes to combine ingredients into finished products
  • Daily cleaning of the work area during and after production shifts
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds frequently
Requirements
  • 1 year of previous food production or general assembly experience, preferred
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (36°F to 40°F) for extended periods
  • Ability to speak and understand basic English
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • General food safety knowledge
  • Ability to pass a drug test
