We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer, Project Management to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex capital projects, building new and renovating existing infrastructure, and interacting with various departments and vendors to execute high-quality construction and root cause analysis problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple complex capital projects up to approximately $2 million, or single projects up to $12 million, and project teams of 3 people or more.
- Establish and control project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Function within a technical, multi-discipline capacity to deliver capital investments to the organization in accordance with established capital management processes.
- Execute complex, simultaneous projects to fulfill project definition requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in construction-related engineering (engineering management, civil, mechanical, etc.) or related field from an accredited engineering school and 4-7 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Master's in engineering or MBA preferred. PMP and/or EIT or PE or strong desire to pursue preferred.
- Working knowledge and experience in managing construction projects.
- Experience with cGMP compliance or related quality systems.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
