Position Overview: The Senior Project Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing multiple projects within Processing Plants. Collaborating closely with Engineering teams, Plant staff, and Contractors, the Project Engineer ensures that projects are completed efficiently, adhering to set timelines and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage capital budgeted projects and expenditures for the facility.
  • Act as the Project Lead, establishing timelines, coordinating support, and monitoring progress.
  • Serve as the primary contact between Contractors and plant personnel, assisting with layouts and verifying existing and future utilities.
  • Organize and participate in safety meetings related to projects, taking on enforcement responsibilities as necessary.
  • Coordinate utility work, including the relocation of existing utilities and the installation of new systems as required.
  • Maintain and enhance as-built drawings, ensuring proper retention and version control for facilities, equipment, utilities, and property.
  • Undertake additional projects and assignments as needed.

  • Identify and respond to incidents and safety risks, consistently practicing and promoting safe work habits throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD with above-average skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others to identify and leverage opportunities for successful change implementation.
