Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Professional to join our team in North and South Carolina.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling Portwest products to distributors in the territory, building quality business relationships with new and existing accounts, and conducting daily face-to-face sales meetings to maintain and develop relationships with distributors, resellers, and agents.

Main Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor to customers, providing solutions to meet their needs
  • Identify high-growth potential customers and develop a roadmap for their further development
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to win new business on a continuous and consistent basis
  • Engage in ongoing market intelligence gathering, including trade shows, seminars, exhibitions, and journals

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of PPE, workwear, or safety wear sales experience
  • Sales experience in related industries who share the same distributor network will also be considered
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills, as well as a positive attitude with a winning mentality
