Sales Professional for Critical Environments

This Sales Professional for Critical Environments position involves building relationships with consulting engineering firms to drive sales of commercial HVAC and critical environment equipment and instrumentation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry standards, pertinent building codes, and best practices for design of HVAC and critical environmental systems.
- Total Compensation Package: Estimated annual salary of >$100k (commission-based with draw), including health insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) plan with 4% matching, standard paid vacation and sick leave, and exempt status.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share in the greater NC and SC areas, focusing on building partnering relationships with assigned consulting engineering firm accounts.
- Customer Engagement: Actively call on assigned controls, mechanical contractors, and building owners to sell the entire range of MMS's line card and products from targeted manufacturers.
- Team Collaboration: Participate and collaborate with the sales team to pursue projects, honor credit split guidelines, and reward teamwork that increases project win rates and profitability.
- Industry Knowledge: Understand MMS's strengths and competitors' weaknesses, driving opportunities to provide MMS with maximum advantage.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage subject matter experts from within MMS's manufacturers to better position and optimize MMS's proposed offerings and systems, as needed.
Education and Experience: A college degree and/or experience in HVAC/critical environments or a related field, such as engineering or controls.
