We are seeking an experienced Account Executive/Broker II to join our Construction Services Group in Chicago. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work both virtually and from our office.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior team members to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business.
- Respond to client requests and inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Analyze client-specific risk exposure and prepare marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with the underwriting community, particularly key partner markets.
- Process and issue new policies and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions, and cancellations.
- Review and proofread all assignments, acquire accurate signatures, and dispense as necessary.
- Calculate adjustments and premiums on policies and other insurance documents.
- Lead, measure, and report on ongoing insurance or risk retention programs.
- Handle daily tasks and key assignments using appropriate technology tools.
- 5+ years of commercial insurance experience, preferably in Construction.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, including insurance courses, certifications, and designations.
- Thorough analysis of current risk transfer programs, including coverage and cost analysis, and graphical representations of the program.
- Insurance program structure planning and design of alternatives based on client objectives.
- Prepare marketplace insurance submissions, coordinate, and assist in market meetings and negotiations, as necessary.
- Finalize all risk transfer quotes and complete a thorough comparison of program options as part of the client proposal presentation.
- A comprehensive package of benefits, including a 401(k) savings plan, employee stock purchase plan, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
