Safety and Compliance Specialist Job Description

At GeorgiaGov, we are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our facilities and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor and record safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations and codes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
