Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate - Cashier at Minit Stop Kamuela. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the store's Point of Sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional customer service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Operate the store's Point of Sale system, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, facing products, and ensuring a high level of store cleanliness.
  • Assist with receiving inventory, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Learn and understand basic food safety procedures, including awareness of temperature-related requirements for key ingredients and products.
  • Prepare, handle, and serve food items to ensure high standards of quality and food service.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, communicating effectively and distributing work duties as needed.
  • Understand and abide by the company's Rules of Conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Comply with all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to understand basic math functions and read and understand basic instructions and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers in a clear, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of computers.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to a height of at least 4 feet with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time throughout the day.
  • Must obtain a County Liquor Card and Safe Food Handlers Certificate within 60 days of hire.
