Team and Business Line:

Fund Administration represents the core of Citco's operations, with our alternative asset and accounting services being highly regarded in the industry. Our ongoing investment in technology and learning ensures that our team is well-equipped to provide an exceptional client experience.

Your Responsibilities:

The Manager will oversee the delivery of precise and timely accounting services to funds and fund managers. This role involves managing client relationships in accordance with service agreements, Citco protocols, and relevant accounting standards, while also focusing on the training and development of team members, workflow processes, and enhancements.

Accounting Duties:
  • Evaluate Daily/Monthly/Quarterly reports and working documents, which encompass:
  • Cash and Position Reconciliations
  • Expense Accruals
  • Verification of Fees and Interest Accruals as applicable
  • Examine all transaction activities related to the investment portfolio
  • Analyze daily flash PNL from clients and conduct variance analyses
  • Trial balances and associated working documents
  • Financial statements, footnotes, and any additional client/management reporting
Operational Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships, inquiries, and meetings
  • Engage with Senior Management and clients
  • Review processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external audit standards
  • Coordinate and oversee the external audit process
  • Assist clients with accounting and administrative matters and relevant updates
  • Provide technical accounting and industry insights to clients
  • Review client partnership agreements, PPMs, and other documentation
  • Prepare client service plans, including annual budgets
Team Leadership:
  • Assess the work of team members and offer constructive feedback to ensure timely delivery and quality
  • Monitor team performance and profitability to meet service level agreements and financial objectives
  • Plan resources according to business needs, participate in recruitment, and lead, coach, develop, and evaluate team members
  • Establish plans for onboarding new clients and transitions
  • Keep Senior Management informed of significant issues affecting deliverables
  • Generate ad hoc reports and operational metrics as required by management
  • Implement training initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or economics
  • Professional accounting designation is essential
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public/private accounting
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate and/or private equity
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting for fixed income products, particularly loans and lending facilities
  • Understanding of the life cycle of structured products from warehousing to securitization
  • Proficiency in GAAP and IFRS
  • Experience with fair value reporting for fixed income investments
  • Knowledge of CECL considerations and reporting for non-fair valued fixed income investments
  • Familiarity with Real Estate and Private Equity Fund Accounting
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and a proven capacity to manage multiple tasks
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
