Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Learning Support Specialist, you will work Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 am to 8 pm. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating learning using the RIP Parent Classroom Training manual.
  • Providing constructive feedback on assignments.
  • Modeling effective RIP techniques.
  • Conducting monthly meetings with trained parents.
  • Preparing program materials and maintaining classroom supplies.
  • Collecting feedback for remediation training.
  • Supporting parents in learning and demonstrating appropriate behaviors.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Preferred experience working with young children with behavioral challenges and their families.
  • Previous training in the RIP model is advantageous.
