Position Overview:

The Captain is entrusted with the comprehensive oversight of flight operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the crew and aircraft from the moment of duty commencement until release. This role involves operating the aircraft on an as-needed basis, with diverse flight and duty schedules, all in compliance with part 121 of the U.S. Federal Aviation Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) and In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) for each flight.
  • Execute flight duties in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures, including specific aircraft type protocols.
  • Ensure the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining vigilant oversight of its geographical position and terrain clearance.
  • Conduct flights safely and in alignment with the designated flight plan.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Aviation-related college degree.
  • Possession of a valid unrestricted driver's license.
  • Valid unrestricted passport.
  • First Class Medical certification.
  • FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating.
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Boeing 737 Type Rating.
  • A minimum of 2,500 total flight hours, including 500 hours of turbine time.
  • At least 500 hours of experience in a type FAR 121 airline.
  • Type rated in Boeing 737.

Work Environment & Cultural Skills:

  • Proficient in basic MS Office applications and internet navigation.
  • Must successfully pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.

Location & Shift Requirements:

  • Position based at a designated airport location.
  • This role does not allow for remote work.
  • No relocation assistance is available for this position.
  • Shift schedule includes 13 days on duty followed by 10 days off, with availability required for weekends and holidays.
  • Full-time commitment is necessary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must meet age requirements as per FAR Part 121.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary:

  • Base annual salary of $129,600.00.
