Position Overview:

The Captain holds the crucial responsibility for overseeing all standard flight operations, managing the crew, and ensuring the safety of the aircraft from the moment of duty commencement until release. This role involves operating the aircraft on an as-needed basis, with diverse flight and duty schedules, all in compliance with part 121 of the U.S. Federal Aviation Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) and In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) for the flight.
  • Execute flight duties in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures, including specific aircraft type protocols.
  • Ensure safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining constant and independent verification of both geographical positioning and safe terrain clearance.
  • Conduct flights safely and accurately in alignment with the current flight plan.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Aviation-related college degree is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid unrestricted driver's license.
  • Valid unrestricted passport is necessary.
  • First Class Medical certification is required.
  • FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating is mandatory.
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate is essential.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit is needed.
  • Boeing 737 Type Rating is required.
  • Minimum of 2,500 hours total flight time and 500 hours of turbine time.
  • At least 500 hours of experience in a type FAR 121 airline.
  • Type rated in Boeing 737 is essential.

  • Proficient in basic MS Office applications and internet usage.
  • Must successfully pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screening and a compliant background check.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements for this position include the ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, and utilize hands and fingers for operating a computer and telephone keyboard.

Shift Details:

  • Schedule consists of 13 days on and 10 days off, with shifts bid in 90-day increments.
  • Availability for weekend and holiday work is required.
  • Full-time availability for assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must meet FAR Part 121 age criteria.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:

  • Base annual compensation of $129,600.00.
  • Salary during training, along with accommodations at the base.
  • Competitive salary structure with annual increases and bonuses.
  • Per Diem allowances are provided.

Position-Specific Benefits:

  • Company-paid travel for tickets to and from the base or aircraft location.
  • CASS (Cockpit Access Security System) privileges for jump seating and cockpit access for work and personal travel.
  • KCM (Known Crewmember) access is included.
