About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campus Security Officer to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our safety and security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our students, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for all individuals on campus
  • Conduct regular patrols of the campus to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Screen all individuals and vehicles entering the campus to ensure authorized access
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective safety and security program
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve safety and security protocols
  • Conduct investigations and complete incident reports as needed
  • Perform first aid and CPR as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
  • 1 year of security-related experience; law enforcement, military, or security experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field
  • 1 year of experience in a security-related field
  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
  • Expected to pursue certification in security-related field
