About the Job

Strategic Security Corp. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team in providing top-notch security services to government, corporate, retail, and fast food environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct unarmed foot patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, visitors, and employees.
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to detect and prevent potential security threats.
  • Control access and egress to designated areas, ensuring only authorized personnel enter or exit.
  • Deter criminal activity and misconduct by being proactive and vigilant.
  • Compose reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities, maintaining accurate and detailed logs.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and engaging with customers, and addressing their concerns and needs.
  • Participate in Strategic Security's G.E.T. principles, which include Greet, Engage, and Thank individuals for their business or patronage.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • State licensing test passed if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
  • State Licensed Unarmed Security Guard Card/License required if mandated by state/city/locality.
  • Verifiable work history with one or more years of experience as a security officer preferred.
  • Ability to follow orders, proficient computer skills, effective oral and written communication skills, active listening skills, and attention to detail required.
