This role involves responsibilities including:

Advertising job vacancies for open roles

Evaluating applicants through HRIS platforms

Recruiting new personnel

Onboarding and mentoring new hires

Collaborating with the Director of Operations on matters related to scheduling, recruitment, training, payroll support, and addressing employee inquiries during and post-employment.

Position Overview:

A Signal Branch Dedicated Supervisor plays a crucial role in guiding Signal's Community Based Security Officers by establishing and executing policies and practices vital for the smooth management of daily operations. Key responsibilities encompass safeguarding all locations and overseeing all reporting officers. The duties outlined below represent minimum expectations; additional site-specific responsibilities may apply.

  • Visionary Leadership: Grasping the overarching objectives and requirements necessary to deliver services that embody company values, goals, and mission. Can you demonstrate Signal's core values, fostering peace of mind for our clients while effectively communicating these values to Advanced and Dedicated Officers?
  • Strategic Oversight: Engaging effectively in communication, planning, and execution of daily tasks while adhering to set deadlines. Are you capable of adopting and conveying changes in regulations and company policies while training Dedicated Officers to fulfill their assigned responsibilities?
  • Financial Insight: Comprehending company metrics while demonstrating behaviors that enhance performance. Can you identify and relay potential recruitment needs to your Dedicated Operations Coordinator and actively participate in the interview and onboarding process?
  • Team Empowerment: Facilitating effective communication with clients, team members, and management in a timely manner, providing and receiving feedback, and executing follow-ups as necessary. Can you cultivate an environment of openness, trust, and respect while coaching and enhancing the performance of Advanced and Dedicated Officers?
  • Project Coordination: Thorough understanding and execution of daily responsibilities while efficiently delivering services that meet business needs. Can you fulfill your daily tasks while also reviewing the activity and incident reports of Advanced and Dedicated Officers?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, assess, and develop accountability for the performance of Advanced Dedicated Officers and Dedicated Officers to align with company standards.
  • Facilitate the Branch Manager Scrum to communicate all service, property, and post order modifications.
  • Organize and conduct ride-alongs with supervised officers, providing constructive feedback, accountability, and recognition as necessary.
  • Timely and consistently report any client-specific information or issues to the Coordinator, while assisting in executing and resolving client concerns.
  • Engage in the recruitment process, interviewing candidates, and coordinating orientation schedules. Maintain regular communication with the Coordinator throughout the hiring process.
  • Oversee equipment inventory and maintenance, including uniforms, vehicles, devices, and phones, while reporting any equipment needs or issues to the Coordinator.
  • Participate in performance evaluations during recommended time frames with the Coordinator to enhance the Officer Brand Experience.
  • Ensure the schedule is complete to meet contracted services and cover shifts as necessary to ensure fulfillment while minimizing overtime.
  • Recommend and implement disciplinary actions for personnel violating Signal Standard Operating Procedures, while also providing positive recognition for personnel exceeding expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Coordinator in the Weekly Coordinator Meeting to review weekly scorecards, route assessments, operational priorities, and all client-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Pass background check and drug screening
  • Reliable transportation is necessary
  • Availability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Complete training modules within the initial month
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Exhibit a commitment to service, organizational values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
