Starting compensation: $18/hour

Standard working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, subject to modification based on operational requirements.

Candidate must secure a Florida Security D-License.

Minimum age requirement: 21 years or older.

Must possess a clean driving history.

This role involves responsibilities including:

Posting job advertisements for available positions.

Evaluating candidates through HRIS platforms.

Recruiting new personnel.

Onboarding and training new hires.

Collaborating with the Director of Operations on matters related to scheduling, recruitment, training, payroll support, and addressing employee inquiries during or after their tenure.

Position Overview:

A Security Branch Supervisor provides essential leadership to Signal's Community-Based Security Officers by formulating and executing policies and practices crucial for the effective management of daily operations. Key responsibilities include safeguarding all locations and overseeing all reporting officers. The following duties are considered minimum requirements, with additional site-specific tasks potentially required.

  • Visionary Leadership: Grasping the overarching goals and requirements necessary to deliver services that embody company values, objectives, and mission. Can you demonstrate Signal's core values, ensuring peace of mind for our clients and effectively communicate these values to the Advanced and Dedicated Officers?
  • Strategic Oversight: Efficiently engaging, communicating, planning, and executing daily responsibilities while adhering to established deadlines. Are you capable of effectively conveying changes in regulations and company policies and training Dedicated Officers to fulfill their assigned duties?
  • Financial Insight: Comprehending company metrics while executing necessary actions to enhance performance. Can you identify and communicate potential staffing needs to your Dedicated Operations Coordinator and actively participate in the recruitment and onboarding process?
  • Team Development: Effectively communicating with clients, team members, and management in a timely manner, receiving and relaying feedback, and executing follow-ups as necessary. Can you foster an environment of openness, trust, and respect while coaching and developing the performance of Advanced and Dedicated Officers?
  • Project Coordination: Thorough understanding and execution of daily tasks while efficiently delivering services that meet business needs. Can you fulfill your daily responsibilities while also reviewing the activity and incident reports of Advanced and Dedicated Officers?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, monitor, and instill accountability for the individual performance of Advanced Dedicated Officers and Dedicated Officers to align with company standards.
  • Facilitate the Branch Manager Scrum to communicate all service, property, and post order modifications.
  • Schedule and conduct ride-alongs with supervised officers, providing feedback, accountability, and recognition as required.
  • Timely and consistently report any client-specific information or issues to the Coordinator, while assisting in executing and resolving client concerns.
  • Engage in the recruitment process, interviewing candidates, and coordinating orientation schedules. Maintain regular communication with the Coordinator throughout the hiring process.
  • Oversee equipment inventory and maintenance, including uniforms, vehicles, devices, and phones, while communicating any equipment needs and issues to the Coordinator.
  • Participate in performance reviews within recommended timeframes with the Coordinator to enhance the Officer Brand Experience.
  • Ensure schedules are complete to fulfill contracted services and cover shifts as necessary to ensure completion while minimizing overtime.
  • Recommend and administer disciplinary actions for personnel violating Signal's Standard Operating Procedures, while also providing positive recognition for personnel exceeding expectations.
  • Engage with the Coordinator in the Weekly Coordinator Meeting to review weekly scorecards, route assessments, operational priorities, and all client-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Availability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Completion of training modules within the first month is required.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated commitment to service, organizational values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
