Key Responsibilities:


As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be instrumental in developing and overseeing a global procurement strategy for Panasonic's manufacturing facilities, ensuring optimal support and management from the initial order receipt through vendor collaboration to achieve procurement efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Procurement Operations - 70%:

Assess customer requirements and deliver enhanced services to streamline procurement operations across Panasonic's facilities, aiming for maximum productivity.

Manage inventory and logistics, ensuring accurate tracking of inventory levels and purchase order statuses, while engaging in negotiations with suppliers and clients, as well as collaborating with logistics partners.
Monitor logistics expenses and operational costs in line with established business guidelines.
Prepare monthly profit and loss statements for assigned accounts.
Solution Development - 20%:

Identify and implement enhancements to the global procurement framework through the acquisition and supply of essential materials, including metals and resins.

Foster effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and logistics providers, with a focus on problem-solving, particularly in discussions with our Business Division in Japan and Japanese suppliers.

Administrative Duties - 10%:

Maintain and update master data within the computer system, including pricing, minimum order quantities, and delivery timelines.

Ensure prompt collection of receivables from clients and timely payment of invoices to suppliers, freight carriers, and warehouse services.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
A degree is required/preferred.
3-5 years of experience in global procurement is preferred.
Proficiency in Japanese (business level) is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in International Business is preferred.
Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel, is essential.
Experience in the Battery Material, Resin Processing, or Metal Processing industries is advantageous.

Communication Skills:

Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel overnight as business needs arise.
Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
A collaborative spirit and a drive for creativity are essential.
