About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of our global marketing and communications strategies. As a key member of our Marketing and Communications team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our brand positioning and communications pillars, as well as implementing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Strategy and Governance: Develop and maintain brand positioning and communications pillars, ensuring consistency across the RMHC system and for the Global organization.
  • Content Strategy: Implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives, driving brand awareness, growing donors, and building brand engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to develop critical communication plans that effectively communicate our brand's mission, vision, and purpose.
  • Campaign Planning: Develop annual and seasonal campaign plans, including strategy, timelines, editorial content calendars, and deliverables.
  • Agency Management: Create agency creative briefs and manage creative reviews/output.
  • Brand Consistency: Partner with channel managers to ensure consistency across external platforms.
  • Brand Governance: Manage brand and content guidelines, employing and maintaining brand governance practices to ensure consistency throughout the RMHC system and for the Global organization.
  • Measurement and Reporting: Develop and employ a measurement and reporting process for Global-led marketing campaigns, working with cross-functional partners to develop succinct insights with actionable takeaways.
  • Brand Reputation: Manage brand reputation surveys and approach in partnership with agency partners.
  • Consumer Insights: Analyze consumer trends to find opportunities to drive increased awareness and engagement through targeted content and campaign development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 7+ years proven marketing or brand management experience in a relevant role; agency, corporate, brand, and/or non-profit.
  • People management experience.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and storytelling/communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and proven ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.
  • Strong understanding of diverse cultural audiences and using key cultural insights to drive communications strategies.
  • Organized, resourceful, with excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills, and the ability to work within tight deadlines while still maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the philanthropic landscape and community.
  • Experience with design/photo/video editing software (such as Canva, Photoshop, or Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus.
