Business Development Manager Job Description

At Marking Services Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by creating and implementing effective selling strategies, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new revenue and increase sales of material products within targeted accounts to achieve sales goals.
  • Develop and implement selling strategies to grow territory and expand customer base.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Research the competition and market trends to stay ahead of the competition and provide valuable insights to the sales team.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on potential opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive buying experience for customers throughout each transaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Marketing or related field, and/or equivalent relevant sales experience.
  • Above average proficiency in MS Office Products, moderate skill level in Excel desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to independently manage time and projects; results driven.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and accurately interpret detailed information.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

There is a minimal risk of injury. Work hours are generally 40 hours a week during normal business hours. May require some additional hours as needed. Business travel required at least 50% of the time.
