We are seeking a skilled software developer to implement, maintain, and customize software packages in line with our company objectives.

You will provide technical and functional support in the areas of ERP systems administration, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), problem resolution, support, process mapping, system testing and development, security access, and training.

You will work in a professional office environment, and administrative personnel may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, analyze, and modify applications including programming, testing, and debugging to support our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and MES applications.
  • Ensure that software can be completely integrated into our general and ERP system and MES system.
  • Design new modules to improve system efficiency related to our Headquarters.
  • Develop procedures to ensure the integrity of the ERP system and databases.
  • Ensure that external/internal regulations and policies governing data management are met, including regulations concerning security, audit, and privacy.
  • Troubleshoot application and database problems on a timely basis.
  • Maintain liaison with business and technical staff and extended support organizations for resolution of MES, ERP, and database problems.
  • Train other developers in the team.
  • Explore new tools and technologies, using them to improve business processes.
  • Implement integration applications between IT systems.
  • Keep all tasks updated in our IT ticketing system.
  • Work with end-users to analyze, design, construct, and implement applications in support of business operations; document applications and provide cross-functional training as needed.
  • Coordinate the design and testing of application/database system upgrades with users and technical staff.
  • Prepare test plans and evaluate test results for application implementations, modifications, or upgrades.
  • Develop training materials for end-users.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft C# and SQL programming in the field or a related area.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX programming.
  • Proven understanding of security, efficient code reuse, and software design.
  • Experience with software development in a manufacturing environment (MES).
