Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Development Engineer to join our team at Segula Technologies. As a Supply Chain Development Engineer, you will be responsible for driving and managing the performance of our supply base from a quality, delivery, cost, and technical standpoint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supplier capacity and supplier investment requests to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Actively engage with suppliers and supply chains to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Monitor high-risk supplier development issues to prevent crisis at our operations.
  • Drive and develop supplier problem-solving techniques for identified supplier fault issues.
  • Fix and develop supplier production systems and processes to prevent impact to our operations.
  • Drive supplier operational excellence by setting focused priorities to reach objectives.
  • Work in accordance with our processes, the Code of Conduct, and the Volvo Way.
  • Represent our organization at suppliers and escalate as needed to prevent crisis at our operations.
