A Supply Partner Development Engineer is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This role involves managing and improving supplier performance, addressing production issues, and ensuring supply chain resiliency by providing technical assistance.

responsibilities:

  • Analyze supplier capacity and investment requests.

  • Engage actively with suppliers and supply chains.

  • Assess supplier weaknesses and provide solutions.

  • Monitor and address high-risk supplier issues to prevent crises.

  • Develop and implement problem-solving techniques for supplier faults.

  • Improve and fix supplier production systems to prevent operational impacts.

  • Drive supplier operational excellence and set priorities to achieve objectives.

  • Adhere to GTP processes, Code of Conduct, and company policies.
Skills:

  • Experience in supply chain quality, development, or production.

  • Preferably experience in the automotive or heavy commercial truck industry.

  • strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • strong accountability and ability to manage tasks independently.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
