We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Development Engineer to join our team at A Society Group, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze supplier capacity and assess supplier investment requests
  • Engage with Volvo/Mack suppliers and supply chains to ensure a continuous flow of parts supply
  • Monitor high-risk supplier development issues to prevent crises at our Volvo operations
  • Develop and implement supplier problem-solving techniques to address supplier fault issues
  • Improve supplier production systems and processes to prevent impact on Volvo operations
  • Drive supplier operational excellence and set focused priorities to achieve objectives
  • Represent A Society Group, Inc. at suppliers and escalate issues as needed
Requirements
  • Act with a strong sense of urgency and commitment
  • Handle uncertainty and unexpected situations effectively
  • Manage workload efficiently and effectively
  • Drive a sense of urgency to suppliers focused on information, communication, and results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supply chain (quality and development) and/or production experience
  • Experience in the automotive or heavy commercial truck industry in supplier quality and capacity, manufacturing engineering, supplier development, or crisis management
