Job Title: Director of Integration

Cadence Education is seeking a highly skilled Director of Integration to support the strategic integration planning, due diligence, and execution phases of M&A transactions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the onboarding of new School Directors by educating them on Cadence policies and procedures, assisting in day-to-day management of schools, and helping to prioritize integration activities where needed to ensure continuity of operation.
  • Review Due Diligence documents and participate in Due Diligence calls to identify operational nuances that should be considered and remedied prior to integration.
  • Provide post-close support to new School Directors to help address needs or concerns expressed by teachers, parents, or students, and serve as a liaison to school personnel when needed.
  • Spot and creatively solve complex, cross-functional operational issues, often unique to each deal, and track/report on integration status in conjunction with the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Work with the PMO to customize integration plans that fit the school and school-specific dynamic, and ensure that integration checklists are followed.
  • Partner with School Support Center leadership teams to deploy change management techniques for change acceleration and assist in the planning, forecasting, and delivering of financial goals, talent assessment, and other needs in the first days.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible integration experience that demonstrates a high level of understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, preferably working in a related management position in an education setting.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to utilize the appropriate management techniques to plan, organize, control, and coordinate activities.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment and adapt to change quickly and positively.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good customer service and communications skills, with the ability to work with professionals and maintain confidentiality standards.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business, Early Childhood Education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience.
